Easter Egg Basket
Obviously I am very productive today :). Here is something else I created today - an Easter egg basket. I've again used the Garden Party paper collection and I made the roses myself. It turned out pretty sweet. Next step is to fill it with Easter eggs :).

First Tag Attempt
Yesterday while I was uploading my entry to the Cards Addicted challenge, I saw that there is a new one posted. It is about creating a tag in pastel colors decorated with a handmade flower. And as I was cleaning up my work station (the living room coffee table :)), I decided to give it a try.
It is my first attempt at making a tag all on its own. I used lilac embossed paper. I buy this paper at the local arts and crafts store and they have it in gold, silver and this lilac color. It is just perfect when you want to add a little bit of glitter to your projects. And the best part is it is already embossed (especially since I don't have an embossing machine). I cut out the butterflies using a felt butterfly I bought for Easter decorations. And of course I made the little rose buds myself. So here it is:

Spring, Flowers and Pink (Part 5)
The Tri-fold Shutter card
I love this fold. It's the second time I've used it but unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the first one. Again I used the Garden Party designer paper.
Here it is unfolded:
It turned out better than I expected although it was a pain cutting all those small pieces of card stock and trying to match the size of the designer paper :). Again as in most of my projects I leave blank space so that I can later add the wishes or special celebration for which I'm going to use the card. I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

Spring is Here
This next one I made with my Dovecraft Garden Party. I've actually used it on a number of my cards lately because I just love it (I think I said that in my previous post) and it reminds me so much of spring.
I added the little strings to make sure the card would stand up and glittered the centers of the flowers. I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

The Pocket Fold
I saw this fold in the blog of Plamnito. She has a link to some Russian forum where they explain the fold in details. Since I had a big piece of double sided designer paper, I decided to try it and here is the result.
I also added two tags in the pockets and the small rectangle where I can later add a wish or the name of the person I'm giving it to. I still haven't bought any stamps with texts but I'm guessing that will be my next purchase because I really need something that writes "Happy Holiday" (my handwriting is horrible).
I stamped one of the tags with a pale grey glitter ink. I also made the little roses myself. I'm going to include this one in the following challenges:

A Different Spin on a Previous Project
I really loved the combination from last week with the yellow strip on pink background so I decided to make another one. This time I used the reversed combination of a pink strip on a yellow background. I also used a lace flower from the daisy lace I bought a couple of weeks ago as a center piece for the flower. Unfortunately the weather has not been very good these days and I can't take a proper picture to show the colors.

I bought the daisies and the butterflies very cheap at the local supermarket. I've actually been using the butterflies as a model to make paper butterflies.
